The issues still persist on the lower resolutions no matter if it's on Medium -> Movie settings.Īttached is the most recent. So at least it's playable! But still, at this lower resolution, the points/awards screen, accessing menu, and ALSO every time I press TAB to check scoring, the frame rate drops momentarily to less than 15fps. But now, on Movie, it get's around 120fps (stage pending) and drops down to around 30fps at various parts listed in the above comments, before shooting straight back up to around 100fps. Yesterday I dropped the resolution down from 1920x1080 to 1366x760 and that has helped to make it at least playable. Two more noticeable/consistent frame drop points of interests to note: Every time I get gunned down and spin out of control, or even lose a wing and maintain some sort of stability, the fps drops usually to less than 20fps. I've attached the latest 'game launcher log file' for your interests - I hope it helps! I'm not sure what 'HPET' is sorry :-/ Lol! I haven't been able to get the FPS overlay to work with OC Guru but I'll keep at it. Disabling the HUD made no (little) difference.

\.launcher_log\įolder) we could tell you about how to change the timer and do some further testing with a different timer. this behaviour may also be caused by the timer being used on the system (especially the bad FPS while displaying the results after theīattle and when you open menus seem to be affected by this) - if you could add your latestst launcher log (*.txt file in the. The FPS drops you may disable the HUD display (by default the option is bound to ALT+Y) and see if the FPS goes back to (or stays) 'normal'.Ģ. Since you got the OC guru installed now you may use the FPS overlay of that tool and do some test flights/drives - when you experience does the FPS increase (or rather does it not drop that drastically anymore) if you disable the HUD while playing / testing the game ? Two more things you might want to test.ġ. no improvements.Ĭheers again for your efforts. Turned off all features in Catalyst Control to maximise performance. Repeat, the Nvidia performed without fault around 70fps.Īlso tried a variety and graphic card settings to see if that helped. None of these behaviours happened with the technically inferior Nvidia GTX 560ti (1Gig). However, it still drops to around 5-10fps in turret view with bombers no matter what graphics setting.įurthermore, the most consistent frame drop behaviour is when a battle/mission is complete and the totals are added up/rewards given - that part pretty much goes to about 2-5fps every time. Other consistent frame drop behaviour is when I click on the menu -> settings, there's always a lag and the fps drops momentarily from 80fps -> 20fps every time. that did make some small differences and it is now playable.

I also tried some port mapping things in Windows and on the Router which I found in some other thread. There was the odd dip to around 40fps at times, but remained smooth. Averaged around 45fps on Movie Settings and around 55fps on High Settings. Interestingly, the "Tank Battle" Benchmark performed fine. Also tried windowed mode, and several benchmark test using 'battle mode'. I installed and tried GPU-Z/HWMonitor tool as well as OC GURU II to tweak and monitor CPU and GPU. If there are bad performance then with perfomance logger and attach that
